Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp knows their trip to Manchester City tomorrow is "super important"

Liverpool need a result to keep their top four hopes alive.

Klopp said, "It's a super important game. It's super important for City and for us.

"Apart from that, I'm not sure if in moment, it's just we have to win games. You get usually what you deserve if you work hard enough and that's what we try.

"I know it's a massive game, a massive week, but for tomorrow they deserve all the attention. That's how we approach it.

"It's clear against City you have to be on top of your game, defend on a super high level and have to play football as well. That's normal with the kind of dominance they can show.

"It is important not to forget you have to play football as well."

On Luis Diaz returning to training, Klopp said: "He is back in small parts of training after a very long time out.

"It's fantastic to have him back. He's such an energiser, it's a boost to have him around.

"He will not train today with us. This week was step one, to be back intto team training.

"He did parts of it, so next week, I think we will increase that to full team training and then he is ready, but we have to judge every day and see how he deals with the intensity.

"It looks really promising."
