Liverpool manager Jrgen Klopp has offered an update on key midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

The Dutchman had to come off during the early stages of the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.

Gravenberch needed a stretcher to get him off in the 27th minute of the game, which the Reds went on to win 1-0 after extra time.

Asked about his midfielder, Klopp told Sky Sports: "I hope it's not that bad.

They did an X-ray, so it's not broke but the ligaments got something and that's how it is."

The Reds are reeling with an injury crisis that saw them bring on multiple teenagers in the final.
