Liverpool travel across Northern England to face Manchester United at Old Trafford. The FA Cup quarter-final fixture takes place on March 17. This is our Liverpool predicted lineup.

Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Manchester United in Huge Derby Clash

How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently

Caoimhin Kelleher has started in goal, with Conor Bradley at right-back and Andy Robertson at left-back. Virgil van Dijk is the skipper at centre-back, with Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez filling in during Ibrahima Konate’s absence.

Wataru Endo is the anchor in midfield, with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister as his midfield partners.

Mohamed Salah has returned from injury at right wing, with Darwin Nunez as the striker and Luis Diaz on the left.

Liverpool’s Recent Form

Liverpool put six past Sparta Prague in midweek, winning 11-2 on aggregate.

Salah’s return to the right wing showed how much the side had missed him – despite their ability to get results in his absence.

The Egyptian created six chances, with three leading to goals, and scored with his trademark finish: a left-footed curler from the right-hand side.

Meanwhile, Bobby Clark scored his first goal and grabbed an assist. Jurgen Klopp’s ability to integrate youngsters into this side must not be understated.

Liverpool Injuries to Consider Ahead of Manchester United Match

Konate “didn’t train” on Friday, and whilst there is a slim chance that he will be fit for the match, Klopp revealed that he will “probably” not be.

In positive news, Ryan Gravenberch (who has been out since the EFL Cup final) “trained” on Friday and “he’s ready”. The £35 million ”talent” will likely find it hard to break into the starting lineup.

Klopp also suggested that Jones could feature against Brighton straight after the international break and “Diogo [Jota] and Trent [Alexander-Arnold] the week after”.

Stefan Bajcetic “will be part of team training as well after the international break” whilst Alisson Becker is expected back at some point after the break too.

Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip are out ong-term.
