Liverpool are set to put in a bid for a player they have admired for some time.

The Anfield club are ready to make a January swoop for Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix.

The Cameroonian is out for the rest of the season with injury, but that is not deterring the Merseyside club.

Per The Mail, Lacroix is one of many names on manager Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Jorg Schmadtke's transfer lists.

The club are also targeting the likes of Goncalo Ignacio, Ousmane Diomande and Antonio Silva.

However, Lacroix is a cheaper option as his contract at Wolfsburg runs out in the summer of 2025.
