Manchester City's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is facing serious complications.

The Citizens are among the many top European teams chasing after Bellingham this summer.

However, The Telegraph states that news of the Premier League investigating and charging the club with financial rules breaches has put a wrinkle in that plan.

City are facing the threat of expulsion from the league if they are found guilty.

While there is no guarantee of such a verdict, Bellingham may be wary of joining a club with such a cloud over it.

He will have many choices, including the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
