Despite being heavily-linked with several clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is one player who doesn’t look to be on the move this summer.

That’s according to a recent report from The Athletic, who claim no club has yet to make a formal offer for the playmaker – suggesting he could remain at Molineux next season.

United, who are clearly on the lookout for at least one new central midfielder following the exits of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic, was rumoured to be eyeing Neves (Birmingham Live).

Speaking about the possibility of seeing their number eight leave the Midlands this summer, manager Bruno Lage, who spoke to reporters at the end of last season, as quoted by Football London, said: “We need to be aware of everything, anything can happen, not just with Ruben but with any position.
