Manchester City will face Manchester United in this season’s FA Cup final. The 2023/24 FA Cup decider will be a rematch of last season’s final at Wembley Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side famously beat United 2-1 in last season’s final to complete the second leg of the treble they famously won last season. An Ilkay Gundogan brace sealed City’s win last season, with his opener famously coming 12 seconds into the game.

Manchester City booked their place in this season’s final with a 1-nil win over Chelsea on Saturday. City’s win was a testament to Pep Guardiola’s sides resilience and will to win. They overcame fatigue and a determined Chelsea to secure a place in back to back FA Cup finals. Bernardo Silva scored the winner in the 84th minute for the FA Cup holders.

Manchester United secured their place in the FA Cup final with a penalty shootout victory over Coventry City. The game finished 3-all after extra time, with United winning 4-2 on penalties to book a rematch with City in this season’s FA Cup final. The game wasn’t without controversy as Coventry had a 121st minute chalked off for offside. Coventry’s was offside by the barest of margins, which cost them a famous victory at Wembley.

This season’s FA Cup final will take place on the 25th of May with a kick-off time yet to be confirmed. The FA Cup holders will be aiming to make it back-to-back FA Cup win over the arch rivals in this season’s final.
