Manchester United fans were spoilt for choice in terms of memorable moments in their dramatic 3-2 FA Cup fourth round victory over Liverpool.

Bruno Fernandes’ winning free-kick would have made Old Trafford erupt had fans been inside and Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford took their goals expertly.

Another piece of play that would have elicited a great reaction from home supporters was Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s driving run past Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson in the second-half.

Wan-Bissaka, who is often maligned for his lack of proficiency going forward, beat his opposite number to the ball before sprinting down the right.

The United right-back regained the ball again and fainted past Robertson to beat him a second time on the touchline.

Supporters on social media were thrilled with Wan-Bissaka’s ambition in attack.

Others noted Edinson Cavani’s superb front post run that went unnoticed in the same attacking transition.

Cavani was unfortunate not to score in his second consecutive start against Liverpool as his header struck the post late on.

But the Uruguayan veteran again made his mark leading the line and could retain his place as United return to league action against Sheffield United on Wednesday.

I was impressed with AWB here. Really shows how much he’s improving his attacking game cause before now he would have only cut back and made a pass instead of going forward like he did here. Long may it continue
