Two of Manchester United’s remaining Premier League fixtures have been set in stone.

Firstly, the upcoming clash with current league leaders Arsenal at Old Trafford has been moved to Sunday, May 12 for television coverage. It’ll be broadcast on Sky Sports with a 4.30pm kick-off.

Should the run-in continue as it is, the result will have significant ramifications on who ends up lifting the trophy by matchweek 38.

It’s always a fiery encounter when the two giants lock horns, so you’d expect this match to provide the same level of exhilaration, given all that’s riding on it for both sides.

Reds vs Newcastle rearranged

Just three days later on Wednesday, May 15, the Reds will host Newcastle United. The game will get underway at 8pm, and redemption will undoubtedly be on the minds of Erik ten Hag’s squad due to the two losses they’ve sustained at the hands of the Magpies this season; once in the Carabao Cup and the reverse fixture at St. James’ Park.

The Newcastle contest was originally penned in for April 20, but United’s advancement to the FA Cup semi-finals meant that it had to be postponed.
