As reported by the Daily Mail, Sheffield United now find themselves in a battle to retain the services of another promising youngster, Luke Faxon, as notable clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool have expressed interest in the player.

As per the report, the Blades have presented new contract terms to Faxon. Nonetheless, there is significant interest from Premier League powerhouses such as Man United, Man City, and Liverpool.

The teenager has consistently featured for the development squads and participated in last night’s 1-0 loss to Barnsley with the under-21s.

In the summer, Iliman Ndiaye secured a lucrative move to Marseille, while Daniel Jebbison, Will Osula, and Oliver Arblaster have all showcased impressive performances at various levels in recent times.

Faxon is one of several youngsters that Sheffield United is eager to retain. Recently, the club secured new deals with Femi Seriki, Jili Buyabu, and Antwoine Hackford, before subsequently loaning out the trio.

The Sheffield United academy stands out as a beacon of excellence within the club, consistently demonstrating its quality through players like Faxon drawing interest.

Sheff United have a track record of producing top-tier players, and with attention from prestigious clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, it appears that Faxon could be another success story from their production line.
