Manchester United have named their price for the exiled Jadon Sancho as the young winger readies himself for a summer of speculation.

Sancho is highly unlikely to remain at the club beyond the summer after his relationship with manager Erik ten Hag was damaged to the point where Sancho was banished from training with the first team.

Instead, the former Manchester City youngster trained with the academy and left the club on a six-month loan to rejoin Borussia Dortmund in January.

Since his return to the Bundesliga, Sancho has struggled to hit the heights that convinced United to make him one of their most expensive signings in history.

He has, however, scored in his last two appearances, with his latest strike sending the German giants into the Champions League quarter-finals.

Now, with roughly three months remaining of the campaign, it is being reported that United have set their asking price for the winger as they prepare to cut their losses.

That’s according to Football Insider, who say that United are keen to offload Sancho this summer and will look to get £40-50m for the 23-year-old.

As per the report, Ten Hag will be forced to sell some players to generate funds for incomings, with Sancho being earmarked as a player they could cash in on.

Sancho is almost certain to leave the club this summer but it remains to be seen where he ends up. Regardless, United will be making a sizeable loss on the player that promised so much three years ago.
