Manchester United youngster Rasmus Hojlund played down rumors of a potential move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. He expressed optimism about the Red Devils’ side, claiming that the club is currently going through a tough period and he would like to be a part of it.

The 21-year-old forward made a stunning move to the Premier League but struggled to find form initially. He has now burst into form, scoring 11 goals in 29 appearances for the club. Recent rumors have linked the Danish international to Real Madrid, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options and find a successor for Karim Benzema. While Kylian Mbappe remains their top priority, Erling Haaland and Hojlund have emerged as potential alternatives.

Despite such speculation, it would be unlikely for any Spanish club to sign the Danish, given the huge fee they would have to pay to United. Playing down rumors, Hojlund emphasized dreaming big, highlighting the rarity of finding a perfect club at Manchester United. Moreover, he expressed eagerness to be part of the club’s development and to win numerous trophies together. Hojlund also reflected a young self, from 10 years ago.

It's rare you get everything in one package, but I'd say everything has just come together with me and Manchester United. It's a perfect match. Right now the club is going through a process, and I would very much like to be a part of it.

Rasmus Hojlund has always been interested in playing for Manchester United and the Denmark national team and labeled it as a long-standing dream. He also told a Danish media channel his move to Old Trafford was a ‘perfect match.’

He praised the player’s maturity and composure, noting how effortlessly he has handled the responsibility of leading the squad.

Additionally, he mentioned that despite facing injuries, the 21-year-old’s commitment, skill, and physical abilities displayed in training assured him of his success at Manchester United.
