An update has arrived on AC Milan’s pursuit of a new attacking midfielder with the hypothesis of an exchange deal mentioned.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), CSKA Moscow star Nikola Vlasic is forcing his hand to try and get a move to AC Milan this summer, but Russian club are not willing to give in to the offered formula of a loan with option to buy.

They would, however, accept a loan with obligation to buy which has forced Milan to reflect. As for the attacking midfielder, another name is followed in Julian Brandt from Borussia Dortmund, who could arrive in an exchange deal with winger Rafaael Leao.

The Portuguese winger would move to the Bundesliga side and start a new adventure there after an up and down couple of years in Italy, while the German would arrive in Serie A to try his hand at a new league.
