The Saudi Pro League have made waves in the footballing world recently, attracting big-name players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar Jr, Sadio Mane, and others to join the league.

One of the prominent clubs, Al-Ittihad, are poised to make a splash in the transfer market this summer, targeting the signing of Tottenham captain Heung-min Son.

According to Football Transfers, the Jeddah-based club want to strengthen its frontline by pursuing the signing of Tottenham star Son along with Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.

While Son has previously expressed his commitment to Tottenham, the report suggests that he may reassess his future at the club if they fail to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.

The South Korean has been the talisman for Spurs this season, leading the side as their top goalscorer in the English top flight with 12 goals and contributing six assists in 22 appearances.

However, with less than 18 months remaining on his current contract, there could be a possibility of negotiations if Tottenham cannot offer him Champions League football.

This development coincides with Tottenham’s reported interest in reinforcing their attacking options, with players like Barcelona’s Raphinha and Wolves’ Pedro Neto identified as potential targets for the club.

The upcoming summer transfer window holds significant importance for Tottenham as they aim to strengthen their squad and fend off interest from potential suitors for their key players.
