Lewis Ferguson is attracting a lot of interest as his performances with Bologna continue to impress, and AC Milan are reportedly among the teams interested in him.
According to Calciomercato.com‘s latest update on Ferguson, Juventus are planning what the future of their midfield will be and they believe that a major investment will be made to strengthen the department.
Recently, there have been contacts between the Juve management and the agents of Ferguson, the 24-year-old Bologna midfielder who has 10 goal contributions (five goals, five assists) across league and cup this season so far.
The Bianconeri have enquired concretely about his situation and have already scouted him live in various games during this season. Bologna, who consider him one of his most valuable pieces, values him at around €25-30m and could decide to sell him in the summer.
They will only do so in the event of the arrival of offers consistent with his value and there is competition that Juve must beat, such as Atalanta who have also begun contacts.
The report mentions that Milan and Napoli are also ‘very interested’ in the Scotland international, who therefore seems to have a very strong market in Italy.
The Rossoneri have been keeping their eyes on Ferguson for quite some time. We interviewed his agent back in March about the interest, but he didn’t give much away. But one thing is for sure: Milan scouts have watched both him and Joshua Zirkzee plenty.
