AC Milan are in the market for a new striker which could prove to be a very expensive endeavour, but there are some cheaper options available for the Rossoneri should they be needed.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the pricier options of Viktor Gyokeres and Joshua Zirkzee are where the attention lies right now as they are seen as safer bets when it comes to goal return.

They could cost anywhere between €60m and €100m, though, which may prove too much for Milan unless money is raised from player sales. The likes of Benjamin Sesko and Santiago Jimenez would cost €50-60m too.

Should they be too expensive or unattainable due to the interest of other clubs, there are two clear options that will cost much less.

Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy has got a €20m release clause and has been a target for Milan for a long time. He is 28 years old which is part of the cheaper price, but having scored 24 times so far this season, he is clearly in great form.

Another name that has been linked for a very long time is Lille’s Jonathan David. He is out of contract with the French side in 2025 and does not seem close to a renewal, therefore he could be signed for less than his market value as Lille are left with little choice.
