AC Milan are on the hunt for a new centre-back and have joined three other top European clubs in the hunt for a RC Lens star, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com writes that the Rossoneri management are on the lookout for a defender who is more in line with the qualities that Fikayo Tomori has, therefore someone with recovery pace and athleticism in abundance, at least more so than Alessio Romagnoli, Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia who rely more on their positioning and ability to win duels.

The latest suggestion leads to Facundo Medina who is beginning to impress with RC Lens and in October was called up for the senior Argentine national team. The 22-year-old is left-footed, 1.84m tall, dynamic and aggressive as per the report, but there is a problem.

The fact he has done so well in Ligue 1 has attracted interest from the likes of Marseille, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid, all of whom have already set their sights on Medina.
