Marko Lazetic was sent out on loan in the middle of last season, joining Miroslav Klose’s SCR Altach, but it ended up being a disappointing spell. AC Milan have now made a decision on the youngster, a report claims.

After a positive first six months of the season, bagging five goals for the Primavera and even making an appearance for the first team, Milan decided to send Lazetic out on loan. The Austrian side Altach came knocking and the player accepted.

The Rossoneri believed this was the right move for the Serbian, not just because of the opportunity to place consistently but also to learn from Miroslav Klose. Just five games into Lazetic’s adventure, though, the German manager was sacked.

Lazetic continued to make some appearances off the bench afterwards but never established himself as a starter, playing just one game from the first minute. And he missed some games towards the end due to an injury.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), Milan have decided that Lazetic should go out on loan again for the upcoming season. He’s still just 19 years old and remains a promising striker, but this time out he will need consistent playing time.
