AC Milan are set to net over €30m from the sales of two players this summer as Charles De Ketelaere and Alexis Saelemaekers should both leave permanently, it is claimed.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Atalanta and Bologna both intend to exercise their buy-out options at the end of the loan spell for De Ketelaere and Saelemaekers.

The playmaker would cost Atalanta €22m while the winger will cost Bologna €9.5m, which means a total of €31.5m for Milan. Both clubs are very satisfied with the outputs of the players and will most probably keep them, even if an absolute final decision has not been made yet.

Saelemaekers was allowed to leave Milan last summer because of the arrivals of Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze for the right wing role, and he has repaid Bologna’s faith by scoring three goals and adding two assists in 25 Serie A games under Thiago Motta.

De Ketelaere meanwhile departed after a very difficult first season with the Rossoneri but he has been revitalised under Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta, racking up seven goals and six assists in 29 league games. He recently hinted at a desire to stay beyond the summer.
