AC Milan are working on a number of different market objectives, and the midfield department is one that will be need addressing.

MilanNews have given an update on Milan’s market and have confirmed that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are working to sign an attacking midfielder, a third striker and a right winger, but also to make sure that there are four quality midfielders for Stefano Pioli’s double pivot.

The Rossoneri management are working to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko back to the Rossoneri, but it could be an end-of-market operation with the right formula to be found with Chelsea. Contacts with his agent are continuous, and the player would be happy to return.

Meanwhile, the chances of Tommaso Pobega remaining are increasing. There are many requests for him, but the Rossoneri could keep him in the squad as Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will leave for the Africa Cup of Nations in January and February so Milan will have to be prepared for a crucial period of the year.
