Dele Alli has revealed that he misses former Tottenham teammate, Serge Aurier.

Both players may have become close to each other when they struggled to become first-team regulars.

They were both sidelined by Tottenham’s last two managers and Aurier’s deal was terminated at the start of this season.

The Ivorian now plays for Villarreal while Alli is still struggling to break back inside the Spurs team.

Alli seems distracted. If you follow his Instagram account, you could easily think the Englishman is now a model and not a footballer.

He posted a snap on the page recently, and Aurier commented “Brody” with a love emoji.

Alli responded to the comment with “miss you” with his own love emoji.

The Boy Hotspur Says

Alli looks like a very distracted player and it is sad to see him struggle as he is doing now.

The former MK Dons man proved to be one of the best signings at Spurs in the last decade when he first joined the club.

However, he has most likely reached the peak of his career already.

Alli could thrive at a smaller club, but his time at Spurs has been nothing but disastrous in the last two seasons.

There has been a shortage of clubs willing to take him on from Spurs in recent weeks.

It would be interesting to see if that changes when the transfer window reopens.

If Spurs gets a suitable loan offer in the second half of this season, it would be best to allow him to leave. Perhaps he would return to form at another club.
