Sergio Busquets was presented in front of Inter Miami fans on Sunday night.

Busquets was the warm-up act. The event was really all about fellow summer signing Lionel Messi, who took to the stage moments later.

Nevertheless, Busquets, who celebrated his 35th birthday on Sunday, is also an excellent acquisition for Miami and Major League Soccer.

The midfielder has won the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship with Spain, as well as nine La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions Leagues with Barcelona.

All of this information was rightly included in an infographic posted by the official MLS Twitter account on Sunday.

Unfortunately, instead of using a picture of Busquets, the tweet mistakenly featured a photo of former Real Madrid and Spain defender Alvaro Arbeloa kissing the World Cup trophy in 2010.

Naturally, this error was quickly spotted by hoards of soccer fans, forcing the MLS account to take ownership of it.

A follow-up tweet acknowledged the blunder, while attempting to explain how it had happened.

Posting two photos side by side - one of Arbeloa kissing the trophy in 2010 and another of Busquets doing the same - the second tweet read: "why do arbeloa and busquets look so similar in these. admin needs new glasses…"

Busquets and Messi could make their Miami debuts on Friday in a Leagues Cup match against Mexican team Cruz Azul.
