The MMA star, or ‘mouthpiece’ as I prefer to call him, Conor McGregor is the first to stake his claim.

Manchester United are in complete disarray at the moment and the focus is on the Glazers.

They are the ones who signed off on joining the European Super League without consulting the fans, manager or even players.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is set to resign, as per the Manchester Evening News, and now Conor McGregor has weighed in. It’s not like he would miss the opportunity for his name to be seen…

With several accusations hanging over his head, as well as a questionable track record, I don’t think McGregor is the man to run any football club – let alone Manchester United.

On a more serious note, former Manchester United journalist Sam Pilger thinks recent developments could see the Glazers sell the club.

Whatever happens it is time fans had a greater say on the running of their club.
