Former Manchester United and Leicester City player Robbie Savage has recently said that Mohamed Salah is the best player in the world.

Mo Salah is in unbelievable form this season. In the first nine games of the season the Egyptian has scored nine goals and bagged three assists.

Comparing this to Salah's other seasons at Liverpool after nine games, he is already performing much better.

For comparison, in Mo's record breaking 2017/18 season, after nine games he had only scored six goals and had one assists.

If Salah keeps up this pace then he will be smashing English League records.

Legends such as Brazil's Rivaldo and Arsenal's Ian Wright have all come out saying that Salah is currently one of the best players in the world.

Robbie Savage Says He Would Take Mohamed Salah Over Ronaldo and Messi

With Salah's unbelievable form, over international break a lot of ex-players have been coming out and praising the Egyptian.

One of the most recent ones to compliment Salah is pundit Robbie Savage.

Savage praised Salah by saying that currently, he would take the Egyptian over legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

“Mo Salah is the best player in the world right now. Would I have him over, Messi and Ronaldo? Yes. Mbappe? Yes. Neymar? Yes. Mo Salah is the best player in the world in terms of creativity, assists.

“For me, right now, if you are picking the team in the forward area, Mo Salah would be the first choice.”
