Chelsea talent Andrey Santos has joined Nottingham Forest, as per  Ben Jacobs. The 19-year-old “monster ” is moving to Nottingham Forest on loan, due to a lack of game time at Chelsea.

Andrey Santos Seals Loan Move from Chelsea to Nottingham Forest

Santos Excited to Join Nottingham Forest from Chelsea

The teenager failed to make the Chelsea squad for their 3-1 defeat to West Ham last week, and both the club and the player believe he will benefit from regular football away from the Blues. Fabrizio Romano has also reported on the move, stating that Santos approved the loan to Nottingham Forest.

Santos joined Chelsea in January in an £18 million deal from Vasco De Gama and has made one international appearance for Brazil, despite only being in the twilight of his teens. The South American is yet to make his Chelsea debut, as he joined his former club on loan to finish the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign.

In a side with such squad depth in the midfield, it would prove challenging – to cement a first-team spot in Pochettino’s side. The signings of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo have only made things harder for the Brazilian. The youngster appears excited for the move to Forest: “I am very happy and excited to be here,” said Santos. I know Forest is a big club, they play good football and they have good players, which is important for me. It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League.”

Nottingham Forest to Come Alive In The Transfer Window

According to Portuguese transfer specialist Pedro Almeida, Steve Cooper is taking business seriously towards the end of the current window, reporting the club as being “very active” as they have multiple players in their sights, including Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi and Corinthians defender Murillo.
