Arsenal have recalled Mika Biereth from his loan with Motherwell.

Well boss Stuart Kettlewell admits the decision has left him annoyed.

He said, "Mika has been recalled. It has been difficult for us over the last 24 hours.

"It's a huge disappointment and it was a little bit unexpected. The talk was that Mika would stay here until the end of the season last week unless something big came on the table for Arsenal that they couldn't turn down.

"They believe that there is an opportunity to send him to another club that takes him a step further than where we are right now."

The Danish striker is expected to be loaned to Sheffield Wednesday for the remainder of the season.
