Napoli coach Francesco Calzona admits he's excited working with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgia winger is recovering his best form under Napoli's new coach.

Calzona said: "Speaking with Francesco Sinatti (fitness trainer), he gave me a bit of a picture of this boy. I found a boy of unique availability. Slightly introverted, but not so much, so much so that after two days I saw him joking with his teammates, happy to be in this environment. If he doesn't perform well, he's the first to criticise himself and I really like this."

He also said: "He has grown a lot from a tactical point of view. His first performances in my management were not up to par, but part of his not positive performance is my fault because I asked him to do new things quickly.

"For example, he was used to doing a defensive run-up phase, but I asked him for a preventive defensive phase, so as to also save him energy. They are different concepts. He was so focused on my requests that he lost sight of his main qualities."
