Samir Nasri admits he clashed with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in the first days of the Catalan's arrival.

Nasri says he never saw eye-to-eye with Guardiola while they worked together.

He recalled to L'Equipe: "I quarreled with him from our first meetings. The first day he called me in his office and asked me: 'What do you want to do?' I told him: 'It's up to you to tell me if you want to count on me'. And he replied: 'I'm counting on you if your mind is really good'.

"Then I do my first session, everything is fine, he is happy with me , the next day Pep calls me again and there he yells at me because of my weight. He knew it because we weighed ourselves every day and I told him: 'Lower your voice, don't yell at me, I'm not a kid, I'm 29 years old. Maybe my vacation was an escape for me, a way to do what I wanted to do because I was coming out of a difficult season, and because so many things have happened in my personal life'."
