Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij and wingback Juan Cuadrado are fit and available for this evening’s Serie A match against Cagliari.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

For the first time in months, Inter’s entire squad is fit and available.

There are two absences due to suspension in the matchday squad for this evening’s Serie A match against Cagliari. These are captain Lautaro Martinez and defender Benjamin Pavard.

However, there are no players currently out with injury.

Stefan De Vrij & Juan Cuadrado Fit For Inter Vs Cagliari Serie A Clash

Firstly, defender de Vrij is back from injury.

The 32-year-old Dutch international had picked up a thigh problem during the international break.

This caused de Vrij to miss Inter’s last two matches back from the back. These came against Empoli and Udinese.

However, de Vrij has recovered.

The former Lazio and Feyenoord has been back in training and will be available for this evening’s match.

However, de Vrij is not set to start the match. Rather, Francesco Acerbi will keep his place in the middle of Inter’s back three.

However, de Vrij could replace Acerbi during the match to give the 36-year-old a rest, or alternatively, take the place of Alessandro Bastoni and have Acerbi move over to the left.

Meanwhile, a player who has been out far longer has been wingback Cuadrado.

The veteran former Juventus and Chelsea man underwent tendon surgery in December. This has kept him off the pitch for over three months.

However, Cuadrado is back in Inter’s matchday squad for this evening’s clash with Cagliari.

The Colombian will hardly start the match. Match fitness will certainly not be there for him after such a long absence from the pitch.

However, Cuadrado could come off the bench at some stage.
