It looks like Gordon is going to get his wish after Newcastle have reached an agreed fee with Everton over his signature. The English winger has been pushing for a move over the past week and even went as far as skipping out on three consecutive training sessions.

The 21-year-old was clearly upset with the Evertonian fanbase after they mobbed him outside the ground two weeks ago.

The agreed fee is believed to be £40m but could rise as high as £45m.

Is this the perfect scenario for both clubs and player?
