B Team product Nick Rodriguez, AKA Nicky Rod, AKA The Black Belt Slayer, will take on Roberto Jimenez in the co-main event of UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6.

Leading up to the event, Rodriguez was able to get some reps on the mat against the number eight ranked UFC light heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr.

Needless to say, Nicky Rod made Rountree look like an amateur grappler.

Rodriguez recently earned his black belt from Craig Jones. The Black Belt Slayer has competed once in 2024 and it was a referee decision loss to Victor Hugo at Who’s Number One 22. He competed at the last UFC Fight Pass Invitational and defeated Yuri Simoes by points — 3 to 0.

Jimenez will come into this match the slightly smaller competitor. He last competed at the 2023 No Gi World Championships where he won the absolute division — winning five matches. In the finals he beat Roosevelt Sousa via rear-naked choke.

Rodriguez and Jimenez have competed in the past, with the B Team competitor earning a victory at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4 in Overtime.

UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6 is headlined by the always exciting Craig Jones vs. BJJ legend, Rafael Lovato Jr. You can check out full results for the show here.
