Manchester United have not had the best of luck with big-money signings over the last few years and have seen a lot of their high-profile acquisitions fail to impress. This includes wingers Jadon Sancho and Antony, two players whom the Red Devils seem to have interesting plans for.

Manchester United Set Price For Jadon Sancho And Antony Sale

How Much Do United Want To Sell Antony And Sancho For?

The Evening Standard’s Nizaar Kinsella has reported that the Red Devils will be looking to cash in on Antony and Sancho after the two have failed to live up to their price tags. He adds that United are ready to accept around £50 million each for the sale of either winger going forward.

Kinsella notes that Sancho and Antony have been “offered to clubs” in the Saudi Pro League as the Red Devils look to recuperate some of the combined £155 million that they spent on bringing them to Old Trafford. It is also stated that United’s director of football, John Murtough, had meetings with Saudi Pro League officials at the FIFA Club World Cup in December to build connections and increase the chances of selling players in the summer transfer window.

What Went Wrong With The Two Wingers?

Antony has failed to live up to the big money that was paid to sign him from Ajax in 2022, and does not have a goal contribution in 22 appearances this season. Kinsella claims that the Brazilian winger faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford due to his poor performances.

The journalist also adds that the Erik ten Hag’s side are now hopeful that Sancho can impress in his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season and recover some of his value to maximize their chances of getting big money for his sale in the summer transfer window. The English winger, who scored just 12 goals and provided six assists in 82 appearances for United, has been exiled from the squad since he publicly hit out at Ten Hag earlier this term and is likely to be sold after this campaign is over.
