Next weekend’s match between Inter Milan and Torino has been postponed to Sunday to allow for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A title celebrations.

This is confirmed by the Lega Serie A, via FCInterNews. The league has announced that the new kickoff for the fixture will be at 12.30 CET on Sunday, April 28th.

Inter fans are naturally in a jubilant mood after yesterday’s derby win over AC Milan.

That victory over their city rivals saw the Nerazzurri clinch the Serie A title for the twentieth time in their history.

The celebrations began yesterday.

First, the team naturally celebrated their achievement at the stadium. Inter were at the San Siro, although it was mainly Milan fans as the derby was nominally a Rossoneri home fixture.

However, the team did move the party to the Piazza Duomo after some time, allowing them to share in the celebrations with their fans.

However, that is just the start of the festivities.

Next will come the open top bus parade.

Then, there will be Inter’s next home match – which will be against Torino next weekend. That will be a big opportunity for Inter to receive the adulation from their fans.

Inter Vs Torino Serie A Clash Postponed To Allow For Title Celebrations

Inter’s match against Torino had initially been scheduled for next Saturday.

The kickoff was to be at 15.00 CET on the 27th.

However, the club made a request to move the fixture. That would be to allow for more festivities after the match concludes.

And the Lega Serie A has accepted the Nerazzurri’s request.

The match against Torino will now kick off at 12.30 CET on Sunday afternoon.

This early afternoon kickoff will mean that it will still be relatively early in the day when the match finishes.

And since Inter will be at the San Siro in front of their fans already, there will be ample opportunity for more title celebrations.
