There has been a huge claim made this weekend on the future of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea boss, coming from a top inside source.

A lot has been said and reported about Pochettino’s Chelsea future, and many have doubted that he will be still at the club beyond the summer, with one year remaining on his current contract there as head coach.

Chelsea have been linked to various different managers, with some big claims made recently about Sporting’s Ruben Amorim being a candidate to come in and replace Pochettino.

The last couple of games have been a bit better for Chelsea and Pochettino, but that hasn’t changed the fact that things this season have been overall very toxic, and Chelsea’s performances and results across the course of the entire season has just been far from good enough regardless of any injury issues and the fact that this is a long term project and patience consistently gets preached.

Pochettino hasn’t had it easy by any means, but there’s been more negatives than positives during his tenure so far, and now claims have been made that his relationship with the owners has now become strained.

These are claims made by an insider source who has been known to have very good links to the happenings at Chelsea over recent years, @ExWHUEmployee.

He has been speaking to @TheByline__

As cited by PYS, the source stated that: “One of my Chelsea sources who used to help me with information when I was working on Chelsea news told me that Pochettino’s relationship with the owners is massively strained.”

There’s clearly something going on here and to me it gives me a sense of feeling that the club are thinking about pulling the plug and moving Pochettino on at the end of the season. I’d not be surprised at all if they were speaking to new candidates already.
