Orlando City SC announced the acquisition of forward Ivan Angulo from Brazil's Palmeiras on Wednesday.

Angulo, 24, signed a fully guaranteed contract through the 2025 MLS season with a club option for 2026.

He played for the Lions on loan from the Brazilian Serie A side in 2022 and 2023, posting five goals and 11 assists.

"Ivan has been so impactful for us these last few years, not only with his creativity in the attacking phase of play but also with his defensive pressure from the wing," said Orlando City general manager Luiz Muzzi. "He's ingrained himself into the group since the moment he arrived and has been invaluable for us and we're excited to have him here as part of our foundation for next season."

Angulo started 34 of his 43 matches with Orlando City over the past two seasons. The Colombia native scored the game-winner against Nashville SC on Nov. 7 that sent the Lions to the Eastern Conference semifinals in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
