Duncan McGuire headed in a rebound in the 88th minute as Orlando City rallied for a 2-1 victory over Minnesota United on Saturday night in Saint Paul, Minn.

Ivan Angulo also scored for the Lions (3-2-2, 11 points) who won their second road match of the season. Pedro Gallese finished with three saves for Orlando City including one with his chest on a close-in shot off the foot of Franco Fragapane in the 85th minute.

Bongokuhle Hlongwane scored for Minnesota United (3-2-2, 11 points), who lost their second straight match and remain winless at home (0-1-2) in three matches this season.

With the game tied 1-1, Angulo chipped a shot from the right side of the box that caromed off the crossbar down to the middle edge of the six-yard box, where McGuire headed the rebound inside the left post for his second goal of the season and the game-winner.

Both teams came up empty on a pair of good scoring opportunities during a scoreless opening half.

Minnesota United nearly took the lead in the second minute when forward Mender Garcia broke down the right side and made a crossing pass to Hlongwane who was cutting into the middle of the penalty box, but Hlongwane's left-footed shot went wide of the right post.

Ramiro Enrique sent a header from the center of the box off an Angulo cross over the goal in the 25th minute for Orlando City. Seven minutes later, Lions midfielder Martin Ojeda tried a right-footed shot from inside the top of the box that also sailed over the goal.

In the 40th minute, Loons midfielder Robin Lod found newcomer Jeong Sang-Bin open in the middle of box, but Gallese made a diving stop of the South Korean midfielder's right-footed shot.

Hlongwane made up for his earlier miss in the 58th minute when he broke away from Angulo in the middle of the box and used his left foot to redirect Lod's crossing pass into the left corner of the net for his second goal of the season and a 1-0 lead.

Orlando City came back to tie it 1-1 eight minutes later thanks to an excellent crossing pass from Gaston Gonzalez past several Loons across the top of the six-yard box to Angulo near the right post. Angulo drilled a sharp-angle shot off goalie Dayne St. Clair's fingers and into the top left corner of the net.
