Paul Pogba has fired shots at former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho while conducting an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.

Pogba and Mourinho are both polarising characters in the game, so you would have thought that they could have found some common ground during their time together at Old Trafford.

However, their relationship grew pretty complicated. As reported by the Guardian at the time, Mourinho vowed that Pogba would never captain Man United again as long as he was in charge.

The former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager, who now holds the reins at Tottenham, never needed much of an invitation to take a dig at Pogba in the public eye.

Mourinho and Pogba had a complicated relationship at Man United.

The Man United midfielder has now taken his revenge, speaking ill of Mourinho during an exclusive interview with Sky Sports and praising his successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn’t go against the players”

“Maybe Ole wouldn’t pick them, but it’s not like he puts them on the side like they don’t exist anymore. That’s the difference between Mourinho and Ole.”

“Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don’t know what happened. That’s the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don’t know. So, yeah.”
