AC Milan-linked winger Wilfried Singo has been approached by Monaco about a possible move to Ligue 1, a report claims.

As has been reported by Alfredo Pedulla (via Pianeta Milan), the Torino winger could be set for a move to France rather than a move to Milan.

The chances of Singo joining Milan got slimmer after Junior Messias’ move to Genoa was finalised. There were talks about Singo and Messias swapping clubs, meaning Messias would be a Torino player.

Singo can play in both a defensive and attacking role on the right wing, so he would have provided depth for Milan.

Monaco have supposedly offered around €15m for the Ivorian which is surprising given Torino were asking for €12m.

Milan are not expected to match that offer but they are not completely out of the running just yet. The focus is more strongly on a striker, a left-back and a central defender.
