Phil Foden apologizes for quarantine violation after being dropped from English national team

England's Phil Foden has apologized after he and Mason Greenwood were sent home for violating health and safety protocols following the team's 1-0 win over Iceland on Saturday.

The pair reportedly brought women back to their Reykjavik hotel after Saturday's Nations League match and were subsequently dropped by England boss Gareth Southgate ahead of Tuesday's contest against Denmark.

On Monday afternoon, Foden, who turned 20 years old in May, shared a message via Twitter:

After Southgate told reporters of his decision, City condemned Foden's behavior.
