Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was full of smiles as he received the Player of the Month award for his performances in March.

The Cameroon international has shown better form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, but the month of March was a mixed one for United. Erik ten Hag’s side had some decent results as well as some shockers.

Everyone’s highlight will be the thrilling 4-3 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final, but it was also the month where United slipped away in the race for a top four finish.

It’s probably not the best time for a United player to be receiving individual awards, but these happen monthly and it shows that Onana is on the right track after a rocky start at the club.

Congratulations to Onana on his first POTM award at the club.
