Ruben Loftus-Cheek was one of the key players for AC Milan in their 21- win against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, putting in a monstrous performance. On social media, some fans compared him to the legend Ruud Gullit.

Gullit made 171 appearances for Milan, scoring 56 goals and assisting an additional 40 goals. He also won three Scudetti and two Champions Leagues during his time with the Rossoneri. In short, being compared to him is quite a compliment.

On social media, the Milan fans were mighty impressed with Loftus-Cheek’s display against PSG and one even edited his face onto the body of Gullit. An image that the latter was shown by his colleague at beIN Sports, where he works as a pundit.

As captured by @MohanadACM on Twitter, Gullit broke out in a smile when he saw the picture. Of course, the Englishman still has a long way to go but it was certainly a very good performance against the French side (see our player ratings here).
