Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero returned to Turin alongside other UEFA Pro trainee coaches to watch a Bianconeri training session and attend a lesson by Max Allegri and some of his staff members.

Del Piero and other ex-Serie A players who aim to get a UEFA coaching license spent the last two days in Turin where they watched a Juventus training session and attended a lesson by the Old Lady’s coach Allegri.

“On the morning of Tuesday, May 7, UEFA Pro trainee coaches from Coverciano were present at J|Hotel, taking part in discussions and learning from Juventus staff who work with the senior men’s team. In the afternoon, and on Wednesday morning, the coaches will then attend First Team training sessions at the Juventus Training Center,” Juventus said in a statement.

“These are the words and comments of coach Massimiliano Allegri, present at the morning meetings:

“I am very happy to have experienced this day of training and sharing – together with my staff as well – with the trainees of the UEFA Pro Course. These moments are always stimulating and constructive because they are always an opportunity for comparison and learning, as training is continuous: I tried to make available some concepts and some notions related to our way of setting the weekly work in preparation for a match. A coach must always make himself available to help his players and, in this case, also his colleagues.”

The Serie A giants also published some pictures from Allegri’s meeting with the UEFA Pro trainee coaches. The group included Marco Parolo, Ignazio Abate, Giuseppe Scurto and Simone Padoin.
