Arda Guler's move to Real Madrid is being questioned.

Former Galatasaray star Lukas Podolski feels the jury is out on whether Guler was right to leave Fenerbahce for Real last summer.

He told Fanatik: Everyone already accepts that Arda Gler is a great talent. We will see in the future if the idea of going to Real Madrid is a good one or not. Perhaps his signing for Real Madrid happened too quickly.

"He will not be constantly in the eleven in the coming months. It is not easy to come from Fenerbahe and find a place at Real Madrid. Of course, Fenerbahe is great, but Real Madrid is on another level. In a club like this, we have to give him time. At the end of the day, they play to win all the trophies.

When you are young, playing and gaining time is the most important thing. If we look at it today, Arda's departure to Real Madrid does not seem to be going in the right direction. For example, Musiala from Bayern Munich, he has been on the field since he was very young in all the games; grow, learn, make mistakes... When you are constantly on the bench, you lose motivation."

Podolski also said: Arda suffered injuries and did not play at all in the first half of the season. He might also make sense on loan to another team in this process. Remember Toni Kroos, who at the age of 19 went on loan to Leverkusen and then returned very strong to Bayern Munich."
