Galeno scored a superb winning goal in added time as Porto beat Arsenal 1-0 at the Estadio do Dragao in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 contest on Wednesday night.

Galeno's golazo arrived in the 94th minute when he unleashed a wicked curling shot past keeper David Raya from 25 yards.

Brazilian winger Galeno now has more goal contributions than any other player in this season's UCL, having scored five times and provided three assists.

Arsenal had looked comfortable for much of Wednesday's game and they dominated possession with 65% and had 10 corner kicks - nine more than Porto.

However, the Gunners failed to record a single shot on target.

At the other end, Galeno almost opened the scoring midway through the first half when he rattled the Arsenal post with a flying volley before sending the rebound narrowly wide.

The second leg will take place at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on March 12.
