Portugal coach Roberto Martinez has sung the praises of Barcelona wing-back Joao Cancelo.

Martinez feels the Manchester City loanee is back to his best this season.

Martinez told Sport: "He is the type of player that all coaches are looking for.

"He can play on the wing, outside, inside, he has running, he can turn or score goals. He has the ability to be a midfielder and then can develop his game in the final part of the pitch like an attacker and defend like a defender.

"He is a complete player, with a physical capacity that allows him to play three games in a week. He meets many of the requirements to be one of the best players in his role in world football. And his performances in Barcelona prove it."
