Australian head coach Ange Postecoglou has informed Celtic that he wants to leave the club.

The 57-year-old has done a terrific job with the Scottish giants, winning their eighth domestic treble on Saturday.

Celtic have won the Premiership and both Scottish Cups, but Postecoglou is ready for a new challenge.

Per The Mail, he will inform Celtic that he wants to go to Tottenham, and wants to take assistant John Kennedy with him.

Celtic are reluctant to let him leave easily, but are aware that they cannot keep a coach against his will.

Postecoglou has emerged as the favorite for the Spurs job after Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot bowed out of the running.
