Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford faces a late fitness test after being forced off against Liverpool last weekend.

In other team news, a knee injury will keep Scott McTominay out, while defenders Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans remain absent.

United go into the game having won four of their last five Premier League visits to Bournemouth, including a 1-0 victory last season. The Reds will be looking for revenge too after a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in December. That means the Cherries could achieve their first league double over United.

However, Erik ten Hag’s side have failed to win any of their past three Premier League away games, drawing one and losing two.

Furthermore, United have dropped 15 points from winning positions this season, their most in a single Premier League campaign.

Predicted Manchester United XI vs Bournemouth

Andre Onana will start between the sticks.

Diogo Dalot is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance, becoming the fourth Portuguese player to reach that milestone for the club after Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Nani. The other full-back will be Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

At centre-back we don’t have many options other than to play Willy Kambwala and Harry Maguire.

The midfield will consist of Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes.

That said, I wouldn’t be against dropping Casemiro and starting Mason Mount, so that we can start to build on something ahead of next season. I don’t think the Brazilian will be at Old Trafford next season and his performances of late are nothing short of worrying.

The forward line will consist of Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Antony. I don’t see any point in rushing Marcus Rashford back into the team, and we’ve got a Brazilian winger trying to make a name for himself.

Manchester United XI vs Bournemouth: Onana; Dalot, Maguire, Kambwala, Wan-Bissaka; Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes; Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho.
