The future of Neymar Jr. at Paris Saint-Germain remains a topic of discussion in the football media. The latest news suggests that the French club and Brazil international are approaching a divorce.

Le Parisien claims that the 30-year-old now also wants there to be a transfer that would see him leave the French capital. Over the last few weeks, Neymar has been the subject of rumors linking him to Premier League clubs since those are the only options that could afford his wages.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have been listed as possible options for the Brazilian forward. Furthermore, his countryman and former PSG teammate, Thiago Silva, spoke to the media about seeing Neymar head to Stamford Bridge.

“Neymar must go to Chelsea. If that happens, it will be for the best. At the moment, I am not aware of anything, but I hope it will come to fruition,” Silva said.

The report doesn’t detail the amount that PSG would be looking for if they’re indeed looking to sell off Neymar this summer. Nonetheless, considering he signed a contract extension last summer, it would be a seismic decision to part ways.
