Tomorrow afternoon, AC Milan will take on Sassuolo at the San Siro, hoping to bounce back from the defeat to Fiorentina last weekend. Fortunately, there will be some important player returns for Stefano Pioli.

The Rossoneri may have lost their last league game, but they managed to beat Atletico Madrid away from home on Wednesday evening. The confidence, therefore, is surely quote high ahead of the game tomorrow.

And one can imagine that it will only get better with the return of Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori, who both should start tomorrow. This was reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below).

In addition to the crucial duo, Alessandro Florenzi should also get the chance from the first minute. He did well off the bench against Atleti and Pioli is now ready to give him a chance in the right-back position, at the expense of Pierre Kalulu.

Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao will also be in the starting XI, having been on the bench last time out. The former did come on in the second half and did well, but him starting is probably because Sandro Tonali needs a bit of rest.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Sassuolo XI (4-2-3-1): Consigli; Toljan, Chiriches, Ferrari, Rogerio; Lopez, Magnanelli; Berardi, Raspadori, Traore; Scamacca.
