Paris Saint-Germain will be plotting an ambitious move to begin the post-Kylian Mbappé era this summer. The capital club are ready to splash the cash on a replacement that has the potential to be the next star player in football.

The Ligue 1 side faced FC Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie; perhaps that was enough for them to see the teenager’s talent even though he came out on the losing end.

According to Le Parisien , Yamal is one of PSG’s attacking priorities this summer. Negotiations could start between the clubs if the player expresses the desire to leave Barça, as manager Luis Enrique is a big fan.

PSG have never been shy about scooping up a player from Barcelona. Over the years, the French giants have landed Neymar Jr., Ousmane Dembélé, and Xavi Simons from the Catalan side.

Yamal appears to be the future of Barcelona, but could their financial situation force them to make one big sale rather than smaller ones to raise funds to improve the team?

It’s hard to imagine Yamal leaving the Spanish side, but strange things can happen during the summer transfer window.
